    A 40-year-old man was severely injured in a head-on motor vehicle collision while operating his motor vehicle westbound on the Mass Pike near the Palmer exit. The client suffered significant internal injuries to the spleen, requiring emergency surgery. The client also suffered fractures of his hip, elbow, and knee with permanent impairments.  Client was determined to be totally and permanently disabled as a result of the accident caused by a drunk driver.  A successful claim was brought against a liquor establishment believed to have over-served the driver of the at-fault automobile. The at-fault driver’s policy limits of $50,000 were also successfully recovered, and a structured settlement was set up to guarantee the permanently injured man with lifetime income.
