Biography
Michael B. Doherty was born in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1976. He was awarded a B.A. from Boston College (1998) and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center (2001). He was admitted to the practice of law in Massachusetts in January 2002, and has since been admitted to the practice of law in Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Connecticut, various federal district courts and the First Circuit Court of Appeals. Attorney Doherty has appeared in federal and state courts throughout New England. His litigation practice focuses primarily on appellate, business, construction, employment, products liability defense and professional liability defense litigation. He also assists clients with employment counseling, including advising clients on applicable employment laws, drafting employment agreements and other documents, and helping clients avoid litigation.
